The piece
A handcrafted checkerboard-style hardwood board inspired by classic strategy games. Made with rich walnut and maple contrasts, this versatile piece works beautifully as a serving board, charcuterie display, or decorative centerpiece. Every square is laid up by hand and checked for tolerance before glue-up — the pattern reads cleanly under warm dinner-party lighting and survives daily kitchen duty just as well.
