Founded in San Diego in 2024 by Rick Thomas, Cut Off The Block was built from a passion for craftsmanship, quality, and timeless woodworking. Every board is handcrafted with precision and designed to bring character into kitchens, gatherings, and homes.
From premium cutting boards and charcuterie boards to custom knife blocks and specialty wood pieces, every product is built with durability, function, and artistry in mind.
What we believe
A board should outlive the kitchen it lives in. It should age, not break down. It should pick up scars and look better for them. It should be the thing your kids fight over at the will reading.
We don't laser-engrave. We don't ship same-day. We don't sell anything we wouldn't put in our own kitchen. Every piece is signed and numbered on the underside.
